How it grew...As a mom of two small children, I get a lot of inspiration out of them. Every day they stimulate me into being creative. But quality is very important too because items for kids need to be reliable! Being creative has always run as a thread through my life and it is intensely satisfying. So how much more fun it is now, being creative in a professional way!
It’s not always easy in this day and age, since you really have to be on your toes competing with the mass production of large chains and name brands, but it doesn’t scare me…

More and more we’re on the outlook for that one special gift, searching for something really exclusive. A lot of people are also having pertinent questions as to how and where a product has been made. This is one of the reasons I’ve chosen to create the Whoost! products with as many natural materials as possible: cotton, leather, wool felt and wood. No big machines either: everything is handmade and on a small scale. On top of this, everything has been created and produced in such a tiny Western country as Belgium.And last but not least, the selected materials of the Whoost! products are especially important for kids because it is they who are going to use and wear them.
Their development will be stimulated by the many vibrant colors and different textures. And they will love the soft and warm feeling of 100% natural wool felt.
